JKCS Position Profiles​

The following are typical positions we bring to bear to help meet our customers' needs. However, the most important qualification our people have is a solid history with our firm. Whether as employees, partner firms, or high level consultants you can be sure of one thing: they have a proven record or we would not consider them for a project.

Consultant1 – 2 years consulting or related experience
  • Solid communication skills
  • Ability to apply good judgment in dealing with customers
  • Ability to understand, define, and document business requirements, and obtain a solid working knowledge of customer's business, organization, and objectives
  • Experience in writing and reviewing documentation or implementation support
Senior Consultant4 - 5 years organizational or IT related experience, with minimum of 2 years  consulting experience

All the above, plus:

  • Above-average written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability take a lead role on projects with limited supervision
  • Strong client focus; with the ability to act as a liaison between project team, project sponsor, and user community
Business Integration Consultant8 years experience in IT systems implementation, change management or business process redesign

Provides solutions in such areas as: 

  • Web Services Development
  • Database Design and Development,
  • Integration Services,
  • IT Strategic Planning, Systems Analysis and Needs Assessment,
  • Business Process Reengineering.
Manager4 - 5 years organizational or IT related experience, minimum of 4 years consulting experience, and at least 1 year management experience.
  • Application of at least one project management or development methodology
  • Ability to lead, motivate and focus the team to meet time commitments
  • An all round sense of accountability and the desire for high quality
  • Ability to identify, then resolve or escalate as appropriate, project issues
  • Ability use a work break down structure to plan, guide, and manage a project
Senior Manager5+ years organizational or IT consulting experience, 3+ year management experience - PMP or similar certification

All the above, plus:

  • Ability to identify and follow-up on new or add on business opportunities, including:
  • Proposal and statement of work generation
  • Project estimation
  • Experience successfully managing stakeholder expectations in sensitive situations
Senior Technologist5+ years technical experience as a technical lead
  • Specialized ability requisite to specific needs of a given Technical project environment

    Wide experience in both development and testing

    Background in both legacy and new technical environments

Principal10+ years organizational and IT consulting, 5+ years in management.

All the skills of either Senior Manager or Senior Technologist plus:

  • Links with customers to assist in identifying/qualifying business opportunities
  • Ability to intervene in the most difficult situations to the mutual satisfaction of all parties
Enterprise Architect11+ years Enterprise Architecture Experience
  • Plans and execute deployments of enterprise wide architecture solutions
  • Aligns organization business processes, people, and technologies with their business strategies
  • Helps develop vision for applications that define the applications and data necessary to meet organizational goals
  • Assists development of an Enterprise Architecture plan
